It takes no particular brains, talent, genetics, geography, hereditary, education or any other special ingredient in order for one to get rich. Anyone can do it. Literally anyone. If you can read this sentence and follow a method you can get rich.
Because getting rich is about doing specific things in specific ways. Over and over again. It’s like following a recipe method to make a cake. If you have the right recipe, use the right ingredients in the amounts stated in the recipe and follow the method as laid out by the recipe, you will get the right cake… every time. Getting rich is also subjective. One man’s rich is another man’s poor and vice versa. That’s true. For me, being rich at first at least was being able to pay my bills on time without them getting me down. Now the bar is higher of course, but you see what I mean. Many people don’t believe they can get rich or they don’t want to be rich. Not believing you can be rich is a crying shame and not wanting to be rich is frankly sinful. Ooh that's contentious. Why? A contentious statement perhaps though one which must be true because,,, to believe that there is a diety that wants to grow and expand (just as the Universe continues to do so 3.8 billion years after it's creation) whilst keeping some people in poverty is absurd. In order for a person to be everything that can he or she can possibly be; for them to grow, build, expand, create and even to help others, they need things in order to aid them in their endeavour/s. Those things cost money. You cannot get those things unless you have capital, therefore it is incumbent on you to grow and become able. What is Day One Motivation and Why Does it Matter?Motivation is always in a peaked state leading up to and, as we commence working toward some new goal. Motive is why we ‘move’; why we start anything at all. It’s very convenient that this powerful driving force is front-loaded. Can you imagine if motivation came at the end of a task? We’d never get started on anything. We’d probably still be sat in caves waiting for food to come to us. In fact, we may not even be sat in caves… indeed we may not even be at all! Thank God for volition fuelled motivation. Everyone has started something with high intention only for the failure cycle to creep in. There’s likely no one alive today that this hasn’t happened to. It’s just one of those insidious traits of human nature; the way of the world. Motivation is predicated on a single believe, or a set of beliefs; an inner certainty that something can be done; achieved; conquered. It may be conceived by a single mind or through the synergistic working of a group of minds. Motivation can be spread; it can be contagious and as it promulgates through groups, teams, communities and even populations. The end ‘goal’ may be something small or life-changing, quiet or earth shattering. It’s a forward moving force that requires constant fuel. Though it may sometimes seem unstoppable it is always at risk of burning out; erosion. Motivation has too many enemies to mention. A few are fatigue, procrastination, lack of will or Self-confidence or the Law of diminishing intent which put simply states ‘the longer you leave it to start something, the less likely you ever will.’ There are different grades of motivation in the refinery of the will i.e. it takes a ‘higher octane’ belief in ‘I can-ness’ to walk away from the comfort of a salaried job in order to start an enterprise than that required to finally have a much needed sort out of the home and get any bulky items down to the recycling centre. The average person may experience the higher grade belief but a handful of times in their entire life if they’re lucky. But once that motivation is ‘found’ there’s no stopping it, for a little while at least! As almost anyone will know, especially those who’ve ever tried to give up a physical or psychological addiction will know, as time goes on, staying as highly motivated as you feel on day one can be extremely difficult. The rate at which ‘failure creep’ rears its ugly head varies of course and depends on many variables; the person’s will power, size of the initial goal, expected and unexpected obstacles and barriers. Early poor results can impose a substantial damage to the high motivation levels commonly experienced by people early on in their goal journey. Suppose you have a goal to make £1000 in a week. If you don’t make £142 on days one and two you could be forgiven for having doubts by day three whether your goal was too audacious. Or imagine you’re overweight and want to lose 10lbs in a month by diet alone (no exercise). You’ll clearly not going to feel as ‘pumped’ in motivation by the 15th day of your diet if you lost 2lbs on the second weigh-in which was on day 14. Maintain Day One MotivationImagine being able to maintain that early ‘higher octane’ feeling of motivation. That core belief beneath that holds and supports your ‘I can-ness’ so high and strong in the days leading up to and including day one; your Day One Motivation.
Well there’s a method you can use that studies have proved make you between 42% and 50% more likely to achieve your goal than those that do not use the method. We believe our adaptation of this proven method further increases your likelihood of success like performance enhancing substances make the athlete faster, stronger and far more likely to win. I can't remember why or what the motivating force was behind the desire. These days £1,000,000 is less impressive than it was when I was a nipper; it's a relatively small amount in business; literally tons of businesses, startups and companies have £million months, never mind taking years. So there's no attempt here to impress... But this is the story of precisely how I turned just £40 (yes forty) investment in myself into well over a million. I know what you're thinking... "No way!" But it's true and verifiable. And actually in hindsight the process was very simple, though as I suggest in the video it wasn't always easy. To open the blog I was about to add that the following is a very true story. I quickly realised that there's no such thing as very true is there? Is there? (Let me know in the comments!) My thoughts are that when it comes to truth, something either just is or it isn't. Anyhow here you go, the true story behind my personal copy of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill - a 13 step philosophy that's made countless millionaires and has definitely been the keystone to my personal journey. |
